As a draftsman Brooks Worthing has been doing design for many B.A. Worthing, Inc. projects over the last thirty years. In the last ten years, Brooks created a separate design firm to better serve the design needs of his clients.
Brooks Design is a firm whose main purpose is to develop plans and working drawings for construction of new homes, remodels, and additions.
The main advantage of Brooks Designs’ services is that the plans are drawn by a contractor for a contractor and therefore are easy to understand and build from. The design services are also a fraction of the cost of many architects.
Brooks Design offers state of the art computer drafting technology, which allows for the production of digital floor plans, 3D elevations, and working drawings. They also process the plans with the city building and planning departments, make plan check corrections, and prepare the permit application.
Although Brooks Design works closely with B.A. Worthing, Inc. on a regular basis they do offer design services for those clients who already have a contractor or plan on doing the work themselves.
